The Seymours of Wolf Hall

07 June 2018

A Talk by Nicola Cornick

The Seymour family rose to fame in the reign of Henry VIII but long before that they had local property and connections across the counties of Wiltshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire. The ancestral seat of Wolfhall in Savernake Forest is long gone but it lives on in folklore and history as an icon of the Tudor age. This is the story of the epic rise and fall of a family at the heart of the Tudor Court.

Nicola Cornick is a British writer of historical romance novels and timeslip mysteries. Her books have been translated into over 40 languages and she has won a number of awards. She is also a historian specialising in public history
