Pennyhooks Farm - Past & Present

13 September 2018

A Farm with a difference

Pennyhooks Farm is located on the northern end of the parish of Shrivenham. Although it operates as a small 100 acre beef farm with a superb herd of Aberdeen Angus cattle, it also operates a College for people who have autism.

The farm has been owned by the Otter family for 60 years and Lydia Otter with her partner Richard Hurford will talk about how valuable the farm has become to the students of the surrounding area. To quote Lydia: “Here, rather than being the Needers, they're taking responsibility for animals that need them. Instead of being dis-abled, they are en-abled. That's freedom."
