A Talk by the Chairman of the Shrivenham Parish Council - Richard Bartle

Leonora Cohen was very well known in the Suffragette movement. She was at one stage bodyguard to Emmeline Pankhurst and is famous for having smashed the glass case containing the crown jewels in the Tower of London. She is related to our speaker's wife, Chris. This presentation is to mark the Centenary of women being able to vote for the first time.
