Swindon Advertiser article dated Thurs 5th April 2012, with picture of Richard Broadhead who is attempting to locate the grave of George Hicks whose name appears on the Village war memorial.

There is also a paper trail file of the letters sent to the Ministry of Defence in the quest to have a suitable memorial stone erected in Shrivenham churchyard. This came to fruition in 2016.
