Fern House in Manor Lane Shrivenham

The property known today as Fern House is a pleasant example of 18th century red brick building. Likely to have built by Thomas Stratton circa 1730, it was a Farmhouse and the hub of the farm and yard that lay around it. A considerable amount of information has been gathered by Shrivenham Heritage Society on the history of this property. To read a copy of the report in PDF format please go HERE.

To read a copy of the Statutory Declaration made by Major Anthony Dallin Parsons in 1965 concerning access, please go HERE
