Ancient stones unearthed in Shrivenham: report plus Photographs of stones

Although we do not have these flints, it's interesting to see worked flints from the Neolithic period being discovered in the village. This lends weight to the theory that the origins of Shrivenham and neighbouring Watchfield, are likely to have been from this period, ie 4000BC
