Handkerchief India Shawl Lost
 
Lost, at Mrs Jones’s Sale at Shrivenham, near Faringdon, Berks, on Thursday Jan 5th inst. A Large Handkerchief India Shawl, yard and half square, wove with flowers and border, coloured centre and corners, and worked round the centre in green silk, with the following words,
 
‘Mademoiselle Hare, la cadette.’
 
Whoever will restore it to the owner, Miss Charlotte Hare, of Shrivenham, shall receive a Guinea reward.
 
If offered to be pawned or sold, please to stop it, and on the recovery of the Shawl the same reward will be given to the informer. Whoever is known to detain it after this notice will be prosecuted with the utmost severity of the law.
