Church House Shrivenham

Although the description by Historic England suggests that the core of this house is 17th century, it is likely to be considerably older. It's location on the edge of the church boundary makes it probable that it sits on top of foundations that are much older. We thank the present owner and occupier, Mr Christopher Ogden, for allowing us to view and copy his documents, and from it we have been able to trace the history of its use from circa 1830 to approx 1970.
