Ashbury Silver Jubilee Celebrations of 1977

The Ashbury Jubilee Committee was formed in November 1976. With HM Queen Elizabeth II about to celebrate her Silver Jubilee, 25 years as reigning monarch, in June 1977, it was felt that a Committee should be formed in order that all the villagers could voice their opinion as to how the celebrations should be carried out.
