The Eagle Inn at Watchfield

The history of the Eagle may surprise some people in that it begins earlier than is generally thought. Whilst it is true that it provided a service for the many personell at the nearby airbase, its beginnings go back considerably further. Like many of the public houses in Shrivenham and district, Shrivenham Heritage Society have researched the basic history and to read a PDF Version of it, please go HERE
