The Accounts of the Overseers of Shrivenham from 1738 - 1759 form part of the Parish Records that are held by the Royal Berkshire Archives at Reading. They have been photographed and placed on microfilm for researchers to study at the record office. The late Mervyn Penny arranged for a copies of those films and had the pages printed into hard copies, all of which he financed himself. Those pages now make up these files.
Overseers of the Poor is labelled Part 1.
Churchwardens accounts 1764 - 1878 labelled Part 2.
The original copy of the microfilm has since been donated by Merv Penny's daughter, Therese and is now stored in Chest2.
