Longcot School for Girls

This listing concerns a piece of research that we have in our keeping concerning a School for Girls that was set up in Longcot by the Rev Edward Berens in 1847. It describes how it was done and gives the location as by the wall of the parish church on the north side. We do not know as yet who the author of this interesting research might be. We include a transcription of the part of the document that concerns the school.

There is also a section of research that concerns the repair of the roads in the village.
