Tithing of Watchfield in Shrivenham Parish

We are not sure why this very detailed map was commissioned. Lord Holland held the Manor of Watchfield for a while and being a wealthy man, he could certainly afford such an accurate survey. Apparently the map was discovered in the attic of West Mill House, but it's now in the possession of the family of the late Victor Day of Shrivenham.
