The spring water Bath House at Watchfield

The Spring that forms the basis of this listing has been running for several thousands of years. Test pit excavations around the head of the Spring have produced flint tools from the Mesolithic period through to the Bronze Age. Pottery fragment from the Roman period have also been discovered in the water stream.
