Doctor Albert Persee Macnamara BA 1872 - 1944

This listing is to recognise the service of Albert Macnamara to the people of Shrivenham for his medical expertise. We don't know much about his personal life but we are grateful to Mathew Patey who is related to him, and has provided us with some information. He was born on 28th June 1872 in Errisiannan, Ireland to parents Patrick Macnamara and Catherine (nee Hunter). He purchased Elm Tree House in Shrivenham in 1925 and he died on 21st October 1944. He is buried in Shrivenham Church Yard by the walls to the left of the Lytch Gate.
