Woolwich Military College & Workshops

We are grateful to the Cranfield University Library that is located within the military college at Shrivenham, for photographs of the activities at the Woolwich Arsenal Workshops that trained apprentices in the art of gun making. The technical science side of the college moved to Shrivenham in 1946 onto the site of a military camp that was within the grounds of Beckett Park.
