Townsend Road Cottages Shrivenham - AKA Pump Cottages

Located on the corner of Townsend Road, adjacent to the Memorial Hall and opposite the Village Pump, is a row of cottages, called by some, 'Pump Cottages.' Historical rumours have suggested that they date to the period of Queen Anne (1702 - 1714).
