An introduction to the History of Bishopstone

This is a remarkably good piece of research by G. Parker from 1985, a period when information was not so easily available. It is a good starting point for anyone researching the history of this charming little village.

Also attached to this book in the rear cover is a leaflet on the history of St Mary the Virgin church, written by J.M. Prior who was the Vicar in 1965. A good place to begin for the researcher of the church. To read a copy in PDF format (downloadable) go HERE
