Roy Selwood Maps

Roy Selwood was a Shrivenham man and possessed of a talent for drawing. His speciality was Armorials and Maps. He produced a splendid book of Armorials for well-known Shrivenham and district figures and may be seen in Listing N1225. Roy sadly left us in 2018 but his work is remembered in many ways, maps on the walls at the Heritage Centre and files within the archive. One of them is called the Forgotten Manors of Shrivenham, which for the most part is copied from the Victoria County History. But it was likely created by him as a way of displaying the Armorials at the back of the folder he put together. This is can be seen at the Centre.
