Savernake & Wolf Hall

This little book is remarkable in it's quality, not dated but likely to have been printed in the 1920s. It was donated to us by Paul Radford, the son of Barry Radford who married one of the Ilott girls. Wally Ilott ran the newsagent shop in Shrivenham for many years. The book covers many aspects of Savernake and in particular Wolf Hall, the family home of the Seymours and where King Henry VIII wooed his third wife Jane Seymour. The book was researched, compliled and written by W. Maurice Adams.
