Reconstructing title deeds in Hazell's Lane

These 2 files concern the reconstruction of title deeds to numbers 9 and 11 Hazell's Lane, Shrivenham. The owner at the time was a Mr R.J. Brickell of Witney, who built the 2 properties in the 1950's. When he came to sell them, it was discovered that he did not have any deeds and it was necessary to re-construct them using information from neighbours deeds. The Solicitor involved was the late Peter Elliott of Wroughton who was tireless in his pursuit of the facts. Eventually enough information was gathered to present to HM Land Registry who then registered the properties to the two new owners.
