New house & shop in Watchfield in 1884

It's a rarity to be able to accurately describe when a building was newly erected. This is one in the village of Watchfield when the builder, J. Williams, placed an advert in the Swindon Advertiser and North Wilts Gazette on the 13th December 1884, offering it up to let to various trades people. It's not certain yet who occupied it from new, but we know William Godfrey was there from the 1950s until his death in 1980. It's a large property as the photos show.
