The name Anzacs was given to an army corps made up of Australian and New Zealander soldiers. They were sent to Egypt towards the end of 1914 in order to form themselves into a fighting force that would become known as the Anzacs - a Mediterranean Expeditionary Force. These brave men played a large role at Gallipoli, suffering heavy casualties. These five CDs tell their story and may be loaned from the Heritage Centre for a modest donation.
