Vic Day of Shrivenham

The late Vic Day occupies document reference number 'N3' in this SHS online catalogue. Vic was known by everyone and put a huge amount of effort into the welfare of his village of Shrivenham. In this listing we have his life-story written by himself and collated by Vivien Moss. If you wish to read this in it's entirety please go HERE.

We also have one of his many poem's and the eulogy that was given by the late Don Allen at his funeral in a completely full St Andrew's Church on the 8th April, 2010. 

His wife Edna, sadly passed away on 7th August 2024, and a celebration of her life was held at St Andrew's Church on the 4th September. A copy of the service is in the file.
