Shrivenham Military College 50th Anniversary 1996

The 50th anniversary event took place in 1996 to celebrate 50 years of the military college being located at Beckett Park, Shrivenham. Assisting security that day were members of the Thames Valley Police who were gifted with a bottle of the special Claret that was produced in commemoration. One of the officers on duty that day was of the opinion that the bottle belongs to the village and it is now in the display cabinet at the Shrivenham Heritage Society Centre in the Memorial Hall.
