50 High Street, Shrivenham - an historical estate

This location in the high street was at one time a large piece of land on which stood a domestic dwelling, slaughterhouse and butchery. The animals were led in to the area by the rear entrance in Manor Lane and processed in buildings to the rear of the buildings that front the high street.
