Conveyances of land concerning Memorial Hall & Cottages

The majority of these documents are from the period just after the death of Charlotte Lady Viscountess Barrington on 22nd October 1935. They carry out the wishes contained in her Will and cite schedule dates of 1919, 1920, 1921 and 1933, transferring the lands on which the Hall and Cottages stand to the Shrivenham Parish Council. They contain drawings and plans of a pair of cottages in the Recreation Ground area in detail. Attached to the ends of the documents are references from the Charity Commissioners dated 1941 and 1960. The later doceuments of 1962 are the transfer of the same lands to the Berkshire County Council.
