Age Concern cheque presentation 1990

Handwritten explanation: Presentation of cheque by Joan Coker of Age Concern to Mo Nesbet, organiser of Acorn Day Centre.  Seated on left of Joan is a volunteer helper.  Tessa Brown, chairman Acorn Management Committee between Jean and Mo.  Standing to right of Mo is Betty O'Brien, a volunteer helper and beside her Pat Burns, Mo's deputy.  All the others are ladies who attended the Day Centre.  Photo taken late 1990 in the Small Hall, Watchfield.  Acorn ceased to be a separate charity in 1999 and went over to Age Concern.
