Wanborough School Diaries

This listing consists of two diaries donated by Christine Hinton. The first diary was made by Hugh Goold Webb, who was the Headmaster of Wanborough School Board School. This is a scan of his diary dated from 17th January 1881 to July. It is quite detailed and shows how difficult it was to keep up a good attendance of pupils. To read a copy of Hugh Webb's diary of PDF format, please go HERE

The second diary is also a Wanborough school and runs from March 1901 to February 1910. It's an interesting look into a completely different world that they lived in just over a century ago. To read the diary in PDF format please go HERE
