New Railway Bridge at Shrivenham Station

To be able to electrify the rails from London meant that many bridges had to be altered or replaced on the Great Western Line. The bridge that carried the road over the lines at what was once Shrivenham Station was simply too low and would have to be replaced. This listing is to explain that replacement. Shrivenham Heritage Society also produced a short video on the works which you can see by going HERE
