We are grateful to the late Chris Openshaw (1950-2025)  for allowing us sight of documents relating to the ownership of his house, (No 18). The documents made up what were formerly the deeds of the property. As is often the case with documents of this nature, a small piece of information led a trail to the earlier history of the entire row.
