This article by the Wiltshire Gazette and Herald, is dated Thurs Feb 22, 1979. It features Edith Jeacock, from Liverpool who was a competant and repected school teacher. She came to live at Shrivenham with her husband in the early 1950s and joined Bourton School teaching staff in 1956.
